FAQ'S

How much does it cost to put an awning up?

This very much depends on the type of awning, the width, the projection and the location of the installation (ground floor/first floor etc). Always best to contact us to discuss your overall requirements.

Do I need planning permission to put up an awning?

Generally, awnings fitted to residential properties do not typically require planning permission, however when fitting to a commercial property it’s likely that you will need to seek planning permission as the awning might encroach on public areas.

Can you leave an awning out in the wind?

It’s not advisable to leave an awning out in the wind to avoid damage. When ordering an awning, you can add a wind sensor - this is a vibration sensor that sits in the front of the cassette and retracts automatically when the wind is causing the awning to move more tha it should.
